The 48 laws of power is a best selling book of America. The 48 laws of power book come in the genre of Self-Help, Social Philosophy, Politics, Business, History and Theory. It was published in the year 1998. This book was written by the famous writers Robert Greene and Joost Elffers.

The book was inspired by the writings of two known writers “Baltasar Gracian” and “Niccolo Machiavelliit”. It was released as an audio book by “High Bridge Audio”, in the year 2007. The hard copy of the book is in the bind of 452 pages. This book is based on the laws of the past three thousands years of Asian, African, American and European histories.

The book gives forty-eight laws with detail implementation description. It is a combined research on various well-known personalities and kings of past including “Louis XIV”, “Talleyrand”, “Otto von Bismarck”, “Catherine the Great”, “Brutus”, “Metternich”, “Mao Zedong” and “Haile Selassie”.

The first four laws of this book are “Never outshine the master”, “Never put too much trust in friends and learn how to use enemies”, “Conceal your intentions” and “Always say less than necessary”.

Joost Elffers is a famous American publisher. He starts his carrier as a writer in the year 1970. He has written many books including “The Secret Language of Relationships”, “Play with Your Food”, “Oragami”, “Cat's Cradle”, “The 48 Laws of Power” and “The Concise 48 Laws of Power”. The Concise 48 Laws of Power is the second and the newest edition of the forty-eight laws.

Robert Greene was born in a Jewish family, on 14 of May in the year 1959. He was born in the Los Angeles City of California State of America. He completed his education from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He did major in the classical studies.

Robert Greene has given many art pieces like “The 33 Strategies of War”, “The Art of Seduction” and “The 50th Law with 50 Cent”. His writings are adoring inputs for the development of human character and success.
